PROJECT OVERVIEW
The project started with a brief to create solutions for commissioning and monitoring devices. The brief was broad and required to understand the user group. It began with on-(electrical)site interviews with the people. A rough persona sketch was developed and further fleshed out with the business stakeholders to incorporate and bridge their perception.
From building personas it helped to give a common ground as to who the target users were and build on the stories generated during the interviews.
From the stories that were generated, and the requirements of the marketing, it was important to prioritise and derive tasks.
The architecture of the solution was defined and further refined with stakeholder inputs.
The Application structure was defined using feedback, benchmarking and essential user input
Initial sketches using pencil, paper and Balsamiq. This being iterative could be easily tested and taken for feedback.
After each of the testing and feedback, it helped to iterate the design for each elements of the application
The Usability test helped to identify one core element of the application which was about structuring the site plan by the user.
It gave an input that the user pertains to only one system and not multiple. SO the tree view was redesigned to cater to the user's requirements.
The final application was ported using WPF(XAML) for Desktop. It was integrated with other existing and future applications with Test features.

Defining personas, creating user stories, information architecture,interactions mockups and usability evaluations are a part of multi-project design process.
Adapting solutions across different platforms like .NET framework(XAML) ,HTML5, iOS, Android in the agile work environment
Applications were further designed using this framework.
